Please help us to welcome our newest babies!

The story of how this litter came to be is an amazing one.

Shortly after Tammy attempted the breeding, she lost Nevar.
His unexpected passing was a great loss to everyone who knew and loved him.

From there, we decided that Tie could not have become pregnant and went about grieving.

When we visited Tammy about six weeks later, we asked "are you certain Tie isn't pregnant?"
We all agreed that it was probably a false pregnancy.

Obviously Mother Nature knew better than any of us.  An ultrasound a few days later revealed four pups.

As you can see, Tie and Nevar had even more surprises in store....

We've decided that this litter was simply meant to be.
The last gift that a dog who lived to please gave to us before he left us.

THANK YOU NEVAR!!!

We are also pleased to say that Tie is a fantastically attentive Mother!

Candids at five days of age...

At 2 1/2 weeks, eyes are open now!

And they are becoming very playful!

Week three!

At week three, pups are robust, strong and GORGEOUS!
So far we are incredibly pleased with these little ones and can't wait to see what the next few weeks hold.

They are also eating their "big dog" food now...

They started out eating very well, staying reasonably clean.
But that didn't last long!

The pups have been moved to the living room now.  This is how they watched the Superbowl!
