Tonka is owned
by Mickey and Donna Whalen of Garland, TX.
I'll never
forget the early morning phone call from an old friend
"Griff" (above with Donna & Tonka)
who also
happens to be a Schutzhund trainer and judge.
She said that
she had the "Perfect!" home for a promising young boy.
I figured I'd
hear her out. Well one thing was for sure, Mickey and Donna
sure seemed perfect!
And I trusted
Griff's opinion of people...
So, we put them
in touch with Betsy Milligan and Carol Beasley, who also thought they
were perfect!
So what to do,
but give them the perfect puppy!!!
Tonka is shown
during a visit to Bobcaygeon in 2007.
Ann fell
completely head over heels with him and it's easy to see why!!!
He also managed
to find Yngo's wubba while here!
And it seems
that Tonka will also have a career as a show dog.
He is shown
here, winning his first two AKC points, owner handled!

With medium ears, carried high. Brown eyes. Good stop. Pigment dark
with pink streaks. Very good chest proportions. Correct front. Short
strong back. Dry. Very good angulation in the ear. Correct coat with
red brown markings, correct size and well defined. Very good
movement. Complete dentition with scissors bite.
