dream as a mommy and is very devoted to her brood.

Breeder's
Note...
While
this litter has been a breeder's
dream in regard to puppies' type & temperament,
wonderful
co-breeders and a dedicated and caring dam, we have also suffered
two devastating losses.
Both
Rose and Olive have gone to the Bridge far earlier than we could
have ever expected.
Necropsy
results have given us no real answers, however our vet feels that
the other pups are not at risk.
We
are heartbroken, but also determined to pour all of our love and
energy into the four remaining pups.

4 Weeks Old...
At four weeks, Caygeon
helps teach the pups how wonderful their food is!

Puppies at Five Weeks...
And the Vanstones visit again!

Puppies at Six
Weeks..."Helping" in the Garden...
At 6.5 weeks, pups
visited the Vanstones!
On May 4th, the
pups went to the Artesian
Public School and helped give a talk to the first and second grades
about how to
handle puppies, what pups need to grow into nice family members, and
also about dog bite prevention.
They were
petted by literally HUNDREDS of little hands and behaved wonderfully!
After that, we
headed to the Vanstone's house to play with friends and family!
These pups
travelled really well...they were out and about for 11 hours total
and took it all in stride.
We couldn't be
more pleased!!!
Pups had a takeout
lunch and then lots of playing with Mommy...
Nearly Seven weeks old now!
At
nearly seven weeks, pups had a visit from Nevar's owner and
co-breeder, Tammy Ausloos!
This is also
the time that we begin imprinting skills needed for future endeavors...
And yes, they
still spend a lot of time just being cute!
Pups are now Seven weeks
old and are very active!
At this point, we'll
be
running around after puppies more than photographing
them!
I promise to
continue to add the odd candid when I can catch them still for a bit...

Eight week old Violet Vanstone...
Violet is now
owned by Sydney Small and Michael Fleming of Wisconsin.
She will be
training in multiple venues and we have very high hopes for her future.
Velcro and Jen...
Velcro picked
his person from the very start!
Every single
time that Jen came to visit, there was Mr. Cobalt, stuck to her like, well...VELCRO!
Jen and Velcro
have plans
to do just about everything together! Ann hopes he'll also be
playing showdog someday!

Blaze thinks
himself pretty lucky that he's got a two year old little boy all for himself!
We couldn't get
over how quickly the two of them bonded and can't wait to watch them
grow up together...

hopes that Jaiden will let her borrow Blaze once in a while for
agility competitions.
Coach and Simone???
Coach will
leave in two weeks to go and live with Pat & Ron Carkoski of Pennsylvania.
Until then, he
spends his days playing with his best friend, Simone!
